From September 8 to 13 of this year, the 5th World Nomad Games were held in Astana. Participants from more than 89 countries took part in the competitions.
In connection with this, on the initiative of the Ulytau Region administration, three yurts were set up in the ethnovillage in Astana. The exhibition, organized on behalf of Ulytau Region and showcasing the lifestyle and culture of real nomads, was particularly enjoyed by tourists from all over the country.
Pocket maps, tourist guides, and materials for foreign tourists were distributed, introducing the region’s tourism potential.
