Museum “History of mining and smelting of copper” is a historical and cultural institution. It was officially opened in 1994, a group of scientists led by Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences M.K. Satbayeva, a prominent poet, public figure K. Salikov participated in its opening. The museum contains exhibits and documents covering the problems of the emergence, formation, development of mining and metallurgical production, the development and processing of mineral resources from ancient times, from the Middle Ages to the present. Based on the research of Kanysh Satbaev, A.Kh. Margulan, P.B. Bekmukhametov, the collected heritage is placed in the museum.
