Khan Island

Khan Island – located 8 km east of the mausoleum of Alasha Khan, at the confluence of the Sarykengir River into the Karakengir River, there is the Kelintam unfortified settlement of the Akorda period. The area of the village is 1 km from east to west, 500 meters from north to south. During archaeological excavations, bricks decorated with blue patterns, fragments of bowls and flat plates were found. By the architectural appearance of the mausoleum with brick trim, we can safely say that the building was built in the 13th century.
