The reserve “Karaagash”

The reserve “Karaagash” is a forest area on the right bank of the source of the Terisbutak River, in the north-west of Zhanaarka district. The length from the northwest to the southeast is 18-20 km, the width is 4-5 km, the area is 14.3 thousand hectares. The average height of the region is 500-600 m above sea level.
